What I tried to get across when creating this piece the way I did was that people are composed of many things and although they may be invisible and part of our personality they are still parts of us, just the inner us. |
Inspiration
Harold Caudio was the artist inspiration for my piece of artwork. Harold was
Harold Caudio's skittles portrait of Tupac Shakur was the inspiration for 'Pieces of I'. This inspired me due to its amount of differing shapes and color which really emphasized his features. This was something I found interesting and thought I could interpret in another light. This is why I decided to change it and started to paint any shades of color rather than only restrict myself to the primary and secondary colors which helped me get the point i wanted across. What I tried to get across when creating this piece the way I did was that people are composed of many things and although they may be invisible and part of our personality they are still parts of us, just the inner us. |
